When full the lake covers a surface area of 12,680 acres. Lake Limestone is for public use for all type of water recreation. The predominant fish species are Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Crappie and Channel, Blue and Flathead Catfish. The Lake is controlled by the Brazos River Authority www.brazos.org/ The Brazos River Authority provides public access at several locations.
